I first heard Melton when I was about 3 yrs. old in Olney, TX. I would sit by the speaker and sing all the calls with him while my parents danced.
Melton taught the square dance class when I was in High School and my girlfriend/wife first learned to square dance. That was in the mid 70's.
Thanks for all the memories and how you have affected our lives. What a pleasure it has been to be know you and Sue all these years. I look forward to getting back to Texas someday and dancing as you call.
