Red called for over two years for our square dance club in Dallas Texas. The club was called Swing and Whirl. This was in the early 50's. He always ended our square dance with the figure 8.
He owned his own company that sold engines and parts in the oil fields. Red came to Dallas calling on customers on the days that he called for our club. We believe he was the best caller that ever lived.
I have 8 of his 78 records from the Longhorn Record label. Does anyone know if any of these are available on CD's?
