TSCA Awards First Square Dance Lesson Grants -- September 2008
TSCA awarded the first set of Square Dance Lesson Grants. The following clubs received the Lesson Grants:
TSCA Trails End Dance - Waco - June 11, 2009
June 11, 2009 - Please join us for the TSCA Trails End dance on the Thursday, June 11th, 2009. TSCA Executive Board members will call the dance on the Thursday before the Texas State Festival. Early Rounds begin at 7:00 p.m. -- Grand March at 7:45 p.m. Dance is 8:00 - 10:00. Round Dancing will be offered between tips. A good time is promised by all. We will also have an auction to raise money for the TSCA Square Dance Lesson Fund.
TSCA Sponsors Randy Dougherty Training Seminar - Oct 4, 2008
October 4, 2008 - TSCA is proud to sponsor a full day Caller Training Seminar and Dance on Saturday, October 4, 2008. The Seminar will be held in Georgetown, Tx. The seminar is scheduled for 9:00 - 4:00 p.m. A dance later that evening will be from 7:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Randy Doughtery will be the Clinician and Caller for the evening Dance. Both are available to TSCA Members free of charge.
TSCA Creates Texas Callers' Hall of Fame Award

TSCA has created and presented the first set of callers honored in the Texas Callers' Hall of Fame in April 2008. We have designed a beautiful plaque and pin to award the callers along with a certificate. Where possible, we present these at one of the caller's dances as a surprise. We invite family and friends to attend for a wonderful evening.
